Adriaenssens Fernand was born in Antwerp in 1859. He was an artist of landscapes. Lived and worked in Antwerp.

Member of the artistic circle in Antwerp ‘Als Ick Kan’, the ‘Cercle artistique, littéraire et scientifique d’Anvers’ and the ‘Kunstverbond’. Exhibited at the “Exposition Générale des Beaux-Arts” in Brussels in 1884. Also exhibited in Antwerp in the ‘Verlatzaal’ in 1885.

The artistic circle ‘Als Ick Kan’ was founded by Adriaenssens and others on 25 October 1883 under the name Union Artistique des Jeunes. The aim of the founders was above all to create exhibition opportunities for its members, mostly young Antwerp artists, who had not yet entered the local official art circuit.

Painter died in Antwerp 1944.
